Have a look at the TransType 
(http://www-rali.iro.umontreal.ca/ProjetTransType.en.html) and TransType 
2 (http://tt2.sema.es/) projects, which implement a different 
interaction strategy between MT and the user.  The general idea is this: 
rather than have the user try to fix the MT, have the MT try to help the 
user.
