Hi Christian,
Similar comments were submitted by a number of us after a blog on MT in the
online FT about 6 weeks ago. On one of the projects I reported on with Rudolf
Meier of Siemens (EAMT-05, Budapest) we also had users requesting MT over
human translation (very restricted domain, highly specialised terminology).

Thanks!
I remember quite well meeting you and Rudolf Meier at EAMT-05, and I
mention your MT system often, with its particular but very efficient
"operational architecture", and show some examples you put on the web
at some point.
I should actually have mention your system in my answer, sorry I didn't.
-- If I remember well, the name of the system was TRACY and you could
produce in 1 week 800 pages of "post-editable" output (in Trados
format) at 1/4 the usual price instead of 80 pages of HQ output with
traditional methods (including OL dictionaries and TM), hence a 2.5
times increase. -- Is that so?

Xan
