All, In the end i didn't bid for the bike. Nor did anyone else. Am off to the Scott warehouse in Cramlington to try the medium and large this week. Have told the seller that if the med is right for me i am still interested in buying the bike.
This is a long shot BUT If anyone can give me directions to the Scott warehouse that would be lush. Apparently it's a bit tricky to find. Crossland Park Ind Est apparently.
