I'll use this opportunity to say what <i've been thinking
for a while now. I'll use bullet points so no-one can
accuse me of saying things I'm not saying

* One of the reasons we won the Treble was Jesper Blomquist.
He served as backup for Ryan during Ryan's inevitable
absences and pushed Ryan to do his best

* Since then we've only had the one left winger worthy of
  note.

* Not having anyone pushing for your place makes you
  complacent.

* We only have one right winger worthy of note.

* Not having anyone pushing for your place makes you
  complacent.

* Therefore we need[1] 2 good wingers to complement our two
great wingers. They won't need to be the best or even
2nd best in the world. And if they earn their place,
well then, they've earnt it because Ryan and David aren't
  doing their jobs.

* Ryan is not as fast as he used to. He only has 2-4 years
left in him. If this wasn't an inevitable fact of life,
  Bestie'd still be out there.

And today, the team was asleep. I won't use stronger words for now.
I suspect they were thinking of next Tuesday.

Cheers
Bjorn

[1] Well, not *need* like York City *needs* money. But it would
be very good for the team, supply backup, spur the current wingers
on, and possibly even unearth someone who might even be better.
Not entirely impossible, that.
