Toure pushed Ruud in the back. He was the main reason Ruud was catapulted forwarded. These thugs are so pumped up you have to wonder if they haven't got all sorts illegal chemicals fizzing through their veins. Arsene psyches them into fever pitch and they don't have the self control to hide it on the pitch. Obviously, their targeting of Ruud goes back to the expulsion of Mr Effin' Clean last year. Ruud was "a bit" theatrical in the way he jumped back but Viera should have kept his feet down. Some TV replays suggest that the ref saw the incident from an angle that made it unclear whether contact had been made. Ultimately, Viera is responsible for the whole thing, closely followed by the referee. Ruud played a part in the sending- off but it was minor one compared to those two. Arsene's accusations are merely intended to deflect away from the his own thuggish players. Let's now hope the FA don't chicken out. Viera's sending off has to stand and that ruck at the end involving Godzilla should be put under the microscope. I have to say, from the TV perspective, I was a bit disappointed not to see a sterner reaction from United players. Ronaldo seemed to be the only one incensed but I expect they'd all had instructions from Fergie NOT to get involved in this sort of provocation. Ronaldo of course doesn't speak English!
