I was quite shocked when I discovered that the main men in midfield were
missing in actions yesterday night.
No doubt, Sir Alex had underestimated the threat posed by Fulham and now
they celebrated their first win over us in 39 years!

I thought he would have replace D-D and Butt right away in the second half
and threw in P. Neville and Scholes, however,
the late goal we got must had changed his mind. We were simply overwhelmed
by Fulham in the middle from the very start.
That lapse in concentration by Silvestre early in the game was really
criminal!

One thing that is of interest is why John O-Shea seemed to have performed
worse than last season ? I thought Fortune and P. Neville played much
better than him in most games this season.

I also think that out of the many players Sir Alex bought in the close
season, only Tim Howard has managed to excel. The other players are still
too raw and need more times.
