It's been a while since I checked, but I believe sdptool shows me about the same regarding obex and syncml.
As I wrote, I'm using a Nokia 9300 phone. sdptool shows me at least that I have the syncml obex profiles:

I did also some tests on it and was able to connect via obex ('put' is not working somehow). Because I don't have a serial profile, I have no idea how to build up an IP connection via bluetooth. So the only way to sync would be using syncml, right? (or maybe gnokii)
I believe (95% sure) gnokii requires the serial profile.
Because this phone is not very useful for me without the ability to sync, I would like to ask when the 0.9 version is going to get public?
Me too :) I tried grabbing something off CVS, but it was horribly old. Also, my primary workstation is fedora core 3, which I know is a tough target to build multisync for.

the only thing thats really missing right now before we can declare the beta status for the opensync project is the syncml plugin... and we are working on this part to get it finished.
How does this (syncml) work? Is the phone client or server or both. How will I run the other side?
