My experiance (T68i) is that Search for units works - it find the phone
- but then gives the user the 'No IrMC synchronisation' error message
and doesn't set teh channel for you.

That was my experiance and it seems from this thread that its also
happened to someone else with a different phone.

Perhaps one that needs a bit more investigation, and perhaps something
easily worked around in the meantime with a quick doc on the website
about common channel numbers - i'm sure ppl on the list will be happy to
contribute the channel numbers they've used with their phones. (if asked
by someone responsible for the docs - don't all start emailing them in
and flooding the list just yet ;-))

/me grubles that noone has any idea about his question on the "Evolution
1.4.4 -> T68i syncing ... apointment times incorrect".  Perhaps i'll
have to try the developers list...
