Multisync assumes you have automake 1.6.3 (no other versions
work with multisync, AFAICT). It also expects certain
executables from automake 1.6.3 to be installed in the
Multisync _source_directory_.

You'll have to get/build/install automake 1.6.3, and then
copy/link the executables in question to the multisync source
directory.

[I was confused too -- this is the first project I've ever come
across that required a specific version of automake and
expected to find bits of it in the project's source directory.]
