I've just started using multisync 0.81 to sync my Sony Clie SJ20 with Evolution 1.4.5. I thought I'd report the bugs I found along the way.
1.) I had a pile of contacts on the Clie and a half a dozen in the evolution contact list. After the initial sync, only the evolution contacts with matching entries on the Clie were modified. No contacts were transferred to Evolution. The contacts did show up in Evolution when I did a resync. 2.) After the resync, contacts that previously existed in Evolution were duplicated even if they matched (but it sounds like this is known). 3.) Contacts generated on Evolution, when sync'd back to the Clie, don't display correctly. In the Clie phonebook display, the contact's name is on the left column and the right column, where a phone number would normally be, is blank. The reason is that the PalmOS "Show in List" entry is not set correctly. Most but not all of the contacts copied to the Evolution by resync'ing were messed up in this way on the Clie after I did an ordinary sync. I suppose this might be the same Palm plugin bug. Otherwise, Multisync worked!
