I am using the openzaurus 3.3.6pre1 ROM with opie 1.0.3 on a Zaurus 5600. My host computer is running debian running multisync (0.81) and evolution (1.4.5) from the unstable feed.
It took me a while, but I have my opie/openzaurus plugin setup to use sftp on port 22 with QCop enabled, username root, password Qtopia. All other combinations of settings thus far have resulted in a failure to login. I am able to ssh/sftp into the zaurus with keys, doesn't ask for a password. FTP fails right out for some reason, but since sftp is clearly connecting, I have stuck with that thus far. When I attempt to sync, it gives me: Failed to connect remote: Failed to load data from device on <device ip>. The stdout gives me: key_read: uudecode AAAAB3NzaC1yc2EAAAABIwAAAIEAxn5LTw82QDP9fPKHwYLVhDA7Mg3xRL failed Fetching /root/Applications/datebook/datebook.xml to /tmp/datebook.xml before stopping the sync. The key_read issue occurred when ssh/sftping as well, I think I fumbled the keys at the beginning, but it still connects without a password or username. No data appears to have been transferred to the datebook on the zaurus. Is it a problem to sync the zaurus via a WiFi card? Any help would be appreciated, I've been reading through so many mailing archives and howtos that my eyes are numb. -Brian Neltner ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IBM Linux Tutorials Free Linux tutorial presented by Daniel Robbins, President and CEO of GenToo technologies.
