I found this howto, here are the things that make me think it's something else:
1. I can type sftp <ip address> and connect to it. If I then cd to Applications/datebook, I can use get datebook.xml successfully. 2. If I use root/rootme, it fails to connect at all. According to a previous thread, I need to use root/Qtopia instead (which produced the errors below). Is there a way I can check the login for QCop manually? 3. It is set to allow a sync from any. 4. I am running Debian. I did touch all the files listed before attempting to sync. -Brian On Fri, Mar 26, 2004 at 11:01:46AM -0500, Tom Foottit wrote: > I'm not sure about the key_read error, but it sounds like it might be a > red herring. > > I'm not sure if you read the most important HOWTO :) > http://multisync.sourceforge.net/opie_sync/howto.shtml - especially the > section on "If you are still having problems". > > If you have done all of that and it still doesn't work let me know and I > will try and debug it further with you. > > Tom > > > On Fri, 2004-03-26 at 03:15, Elmo wrote: > > I am using the openzaurus 3.3.6pre1 ROM with opie 1.0.3 on a Zaurus 5600.
