I built the palm-sync from CVS snapshot. I could not connect to the CVS.
1. There are no more null/garbage elements in "show in list". The
available phone/e-mail info starts from the top of the list, which can
cause duplicate labels. For example: The record in evolution has only
"home" phone set. The labels on the palm become
Home: with the number
Home: empty
Fax: empty
Other: empty
e-mail: empty
BTW, minor syntax error in palm_sync.c line 966. Missing parenthesis
in the if statement "if ((orig_entry.address.showPhone) > 4)"
2. When I made a change to an existing record (ie. created before the
CVS palm_sync) in Evolution or Palm, it got duplicated after the sync,
ie. a new record created with the updated info. This does not happen if
the record was created after the new palm_sync.
Is there a way to specify "copy to palm" or "copy from palm" instead of
a sync to replace all the records in palm or evolution respectively?
Right now, I accomplish this by deleting all the records from evolution
manually and then doing a resync.
