Hi all, i'm currently succesfully synchronising my SonyEricsson T610 with evolution. it is great and i'm frustaded not managing synchronising my Ipaq4150
i read on http://multisync.sourceforge.net/devices.shtml that multisync + synce on Pocket PC 2003 Needs more testing . i tested it and it is NOK. so here is my report : 1) configuration : - kernel 2.6.7-gentoo - Ipaq 4150 + WindowsCE 4.20 - multisync-0.81-r1 - synce-0.8.9 - ppp-2.4.2-r2 connection successfull with the ipaq via USB or via Bluetooth - vdccm -d 3 -f running and giving the following output when i launch synchro on the Ipaq : mul info package (140 bytes): 0000: 28 00 00 00 04 14 00 00 (....... 0008: 11 0a 00 00 05 00 00 00 ........ 0010: 55 66 2e 77 86 41 f7 4f Uf.w.A.O 0018: 28 00 00 00 32 00 00 00 (...2... 0020: 50 00 00 00 6c 00 00 00 P...l... 0028: 59 00 62 00 62 00 59 00 Y.b.b.Y. 0030: 00 00 50 00 6f 00 63 00 ..P.o.c. 0038: 6b 00 65 00 74 00 50 00 k.e.t.P. 0040: 43 00 00 00 53 00 53 00 C...S.S. 0048: 44 00 4b 00 00 00 00 00 D.K..... 0050: 68 00 70 00 20 00 69 00 h.p...i. 0058: 50 00 41 00 51 00 20 00 P.A.Q... 0060: 68 00 34 00 31 00 35 00 h.4.1.5. 0068: 30 00 00 00 03 00 00 00 0....... 0070: 00 00 00 00 04 00 00 00 ........ 0078: 02 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0080: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 ........ 0088: 00 00 00 00 .... 0090: 2) Multisync problems : At the beginning of the connection everything seems ok, both ipaq and multisync says they are synchronising. but : -sometimes multisync crashes saying things like : [rra_syncmgr_handle_event:664] Failed to receive event, closing connection! Multiple segmentation faults occurred; can't display error dialog -sometimes multisync hangs -sometimes multisync + ipaq shows they are synchronising, at the end multisync tells the number of entries synchronised succesfully, but the ipaq hangs and is not synchronized. the output of multisync shows every contacts datas. this ouput id huge and contains all my personnal datas but i could provide it if needed. each time a contact is parsed i get : [parser_handle_field:736] Found field 'BEGIN' with type '' and contents 'VCARD' [parser_handle_field:736] Found field 'VERSION' with type '' and contents '2.1' [parser_handle_field:736] Found field 'X-EVOLUTION-FILE-AS' with type '' and contents 'S , C ' [parser_handle_field:894] So, your contact has been in Evolution?
