Hmmm. Nope, that doesn't seem to be the case, when a cu is attached it seems responses ONLY go to the cu and nothing else... Extra information: when I can get it to START connecting, and it fails during the plugin changes part, I get this in the terminal: Error writing to port: Resource temporarily unavailable Error writing to port: Resource temporarily unavailable Though I do have access to read and write to it... wait... wait... I just tried it many many times in a row and finally the phone went "synchronizing"... multisync still says "getting first plugin changes" -- been 2 or 3 minutes now.... phone still says "synchronizing"... I'm excited... Oh! A popup said "Fetching the full contact database, this may take a few minutes"... Damn, phone just said "Synchronization interrupted" OK, so is this a flakey cable? (brand new!), or possibly a flakey driver? ::groan:: -- Phil Dibowitz Systems Architect and Administrator Enterprise Infrastructure / ISD / USC UCC 174 - 213-821-5427
