Hi, if you are still struggling with bind setup: I just switched to dnsmasq, which is a simple DNS caching daemon that answers requests on each upcoming device. All I had to do was add a line to /etc/hosts:
169.254.1.68 wsockhost.mrouter I think this should be the default solution for P800/P900 connectivity, setting up bind is too much. Also, I had to restart bind after establishing the ppp connection to the phone, dnsmasq simply works.
