Hello, I have exactly the same problem trying to sync between evolution2 and a sony P910i. On the P910i, the progress bar goes up to 1/2 way and the logs from multisync says "dwelling" - both "freeze" (stop) at this point. I did not attach my logs - they are the same as Pep submitted.
To continue, as Pep did I press Stop on the mobile phone side or [if I press Sync on the multisync, the sync is completed, but all the entries are duplicated in evolution]. I my example, I was trying to sync about 5 calendar entries and 20 tasks (the contact sync was not selected) and the cpu load was not at all high. I used the latest wbxml (patched) and the latest multisync Cvs snapshot. I hope this helps - If still require the logs - I can send them...
