Hi Dan Brow,
It is great! Thanks for your work!
However, I can not get it to compile in my Debian machine unless
an additional line of "AC_SUBST(INTLLIBS)" was put into 'configure.in' .
I'll see what I can do to add this to the script. I'm a slackware user
and don't have this issue. How can I check if it's debian system? is
there a file in /etc that I can check if it exists? Let me know and I'll
add an if statement.
I have no idea on the different of autoconf between Slackware and
Debian, but I guess having this line in configure.in won't make it be
broken on Slackware?
By the way, do you mind to describe your changes briefly? The result of
`diff` between your patched source and the latest CVS shows a huge
modifications. I wonder what else of patches have been applied in this
tarball file (besides those listed in your previous email)
I am a Linux programmer but new to multisync , just want to see what can i
contributed.
I am quite happy to see the evolution plug-ins works again(at least
in compilation...). But unfortunately, I still could not get two
Evolutions be
synchronized through SyncML. The multisync client are terminated
unexpected in all the case without any useful debug message I could ever
get.
I'll set up SyncML between my laptop and desktop a little later, I've
wanted to do this but time has been tight these days.
Please look through the patch list on sf.net to see if any patches are
there for SyncML and I'll add them to the script.
Looks like there is only the one Docs for syncml plgin and fix a typo,
not sure if it's needed now but I see if it applys cleanly.
Thanks for your feed back,
Dan.

For all you people out there that want a patched tar file of multisync
with a working opie/evolution solution.
I've built a script that will download multisync & patches, patch
multsync and repack it as a tar file.
Only 1 issue all the downloads come from my server, I don't care about
hosting them. If you don't trust me then don't use the script. If you
can tell me how to get wget to download the actual file and not the
stupid download.do file from sf.net then I'd be happy to update this for
you all.
I'm also hosting a patched package for you all, download at will.
Patched Multisync:
www.fullmotions.com/downloads/multisync/multisync-cvs-snapshot-patched.tar.gz
Script:
www.fullmotions.com/downloads/multisync/fix_multisync
Patches included are:
default_password
look-in-right-dir
multisync-gcc4.patch
opie-dtend.patch.patch
opie_telephone
patch_list
repeat-fix
sync_vtype_se.diff
Enjoy!
Dan.
