Setting Collation name for the database: Collation enables a standard followed
on the database, considering i want to enable case sensitiveness for the query
accessing my database then i should use appropriate collation to achieve this
task. IF DB_ID (N'MyOptionsTest') IS NOT NULL
DROP DATABASE MyOptionsTest;
GO
CREATE DATABASE MyOptionsTest
COLLATE French_CI_AI GO In the above query am trying to create a database with
the collation name French_CI_AI, which means the language preferred is French,
the case accepted for this database is Case insensitiveness, and accent should
be insentive. To check when the database is created with the same collation we
have put the below query,

SELECT name, collation_name FROM sys.databases
WHERE name = N'MyOptionsTest'; Regards,
Venkatesan Prabu. J
