If you want an official certificate you do the following:
|# First generate a rsa key with 1024 bits length and store it in a des3 protected file
openssl genrsa -des3 -out /keyfile/ 1024
My card/reader combination (GemPC430 USB with GemXpresso V3 card) seems to only work with 512 bit keys. When I try to create anything higher it croaks on me. Can I get an official cert for a 512bit key or must it be higher?
