I guess you already know the procedure at [1]. The APG8201 reader is in the "Should work but untested by me" list [2]. But since you wrote you can't get the power up to work I may move it in the "unsupported" list. Maybe this is a good enough argument to indicate the readers are *not* CCID compliant.
