libusb is build with multi-arch on Ubuntu. So the lib is installed in
/lib/i386-linux-gnu/libusb-1.0.so.0.1.0
 on i386 and /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libusb-1.0.so.0.1.0 on amd64.

Move the libusb you compiled and installed in the "correct" location.
