I must say that where I received my (at the time) top level education,
the PhD's had much higher standards concerning human modesty and
theoretical respect.

Probably that is because at the technical university one is supposed
to decent work, and pass, say, the sophomore year (of EE in my case)
before trying to grab away content from serious graduates, and thinking
that everything is simple. After one semester and the exams following,
it is clear for most prospect MSc EEs that most things are pretty
darn complicated, and that talk is cheap (and only 50% made it through a all).

Good afternoon gentlemen, I for one do not have any confidence in the
arrival of any of the subjects I've recently read about to pass through
a FIRST YEAR EE level, so I cease to have interest in the lack of understanding, and the honestly not even funny anymore delusions of grandeur about long-ago invented mathematical work, that is seriously or not displayed regularly, and have no confidence at all I'll ever miss anything if I don't perceive most of what's been discussed here recently.

Of course with a number of clear exceptions, who I respectfully thank
for their solid denial to go further than the reasonable. Of course anyone can feel free to ask specific questions, I may even take the time to seriously answer to the best of my ability, and of course I'm not afraid of a virtual friday-afternoon in the pub to informally have some fun.

Greetings,

  Ir. T. Verelst
