If noise shaping with oversampling actually worked to eliminate the noise floor, then 24-bit sound cards would have 160 bit dynamic range.
Yet for *some* reason, they have 110-115 dB dynamic range instead, not even approaching the theoretical 144 dB range of a 24 bit signal.
