As Salaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barkatuh!

Al Quran
172. O you who believe (in the Oneness of Allah-islamic Monothism)! Eat of
the lawful things that We have provided you with, and be grateful to Allah, if
it is indeed He Whom you worship.
173. He has forbidden you only the Maitah (dead animals), and blood, and the
flesh of swine, and that which is slaughtered as a sacrifice for others than
Allah (or has been slaughtered for idols, on which Allahs Name has not been
mentioned while slaughtering). But if one is forced by necessity without
willful disobedience nor transgressing due limits, then there is no sin on him.
Truly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Hadith
Prophet (peace be upon him) said Abusing one's parents is one of the major
sins. They (the hearers) said: Messenger of Allah, does a man abuse his parents
too? He (the Prophet peace be upon him) replied: Yes, one abuses the father of
another man, who in turn abuses his father. One abuses his mother and he in
turn abuses his (the formers) mother.
