As Salaamu Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barkaatuh!

Al Qur'an
193. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief and worshipping of
others along with Allah) and (all and every kind of) worship is for Allah
(Alone). But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against
Az-Zaimun (the polytheists, and wrongdoers).
194. The sacred month is for the sacred month, and
for the prohibited things, there is the Law of Equality (Qisas). Then whoever
transgresses the
prohibition against you, you transgress likewise against him. And fear Allah,
and know that Allah is with Al-Muttaqun.
195. And spend in the Cause of Allah (i.e. Jihad of all kinds) and do not throw
yourselves into destruction (by not spending your wealth in the Cause of
Allah), and do well. Truly, Allah loves Al-Muhsinun
(the good-doers).

Hadith
Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
(A group of) angels stay
with you at night and (another group of) angels by daytime, and both groups
gather at the time of the 'Asr and Fajr Prayers.
Then those angels who have
stayed with you overnight, ascend (to Heaven) and Allah asks them (about you)
---- and He knows everything about you.
"In what state did you leave My
slaves?'
The angels reply, 'When we left them, they were praying, and when we
reached them they were praying.'.

Acquiring (religious) knowledge in company for an hour in the night is better
than spending the whole night in prayer.

which Thou hast bestowed on me and on my parents,
and that I should do good such as Thou art pleased with,
and make me enter, by Thy mercy, into Thy servants, the good ones.
