Al Qur'an
Allah did choose Adam and Noah,the family of Abraham, and the family of 'Imran
above all people,-
Offspring, one of the other:
And Allah heareth and knoweth all things.
Behold! a woman of 'Imran said:
"O my Lord! I do dedicate unto Theewhat is in my womb for Thy special
service:So accept this of me:For Thou hearest and knowest all
things."
{Surah Aale Imran ~ Ayah 33-34-35}

Hadith
Narrated 'Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her):
The Prophet (peace & blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
"Do not abuse the dead,
for they have reached the result of
what they have done."
(Sahih Bukhari: Book #76, Hadith #523)
