Hopefully that last recommendation worked out for you. If you're using
it, you may also want to check out adding %H to your $index_format, so you
can see the importance flags in your index. (To do that you may want to
change the right side of the spam command so that it just stores the
flag).
Since ~h is working "as designed", we can either close this out as a won't
fix or re-categorize it as an enhancement request.
