Kevin very kindly gave me commit access today. I'll look after the bugs that 
touch my area of work (I contributed a little relevant code ten years ago).

There are about a hundred open issues, and many of them are not really open.

Kevin's analysis is correct IMNSHO and no change is needed in Mutt.

Would anyone mind if I just go and close a dozen of the issues that don't 
require changes to Mutt, so that eventually
