Hi Patrick, here is my complete post: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg46857.html These are my header and message cache directories: set header_cache = /var/tmp/.mutt/gmail/header_cache set message_cachedir = /var/tmp/.mutt/gmail/message_cache I have not set up a tmpdir in .muttrc so I assume that my /tmp is being used instead. I have also not set up message_cache_clean to "no", because this is the default and in any case even if just login-logout-login again and make no changes to messages in between, it still takes ages to evaluate the cache. -- Regards, Mick
