Martin,

Thanks for getting back to me so soon. I tried the mvprelay identified
above and sadly still have the same issue. Tried to use the Linux box with
Router DHCP, did not work. Tried to use the Hauppauge software to pass the
dongle.bin and connect to Linux box, did not work. Reset the dongle.bin
with the Hauppauge dongle.bin, then tried using the Linux box only with
DHCP, tftp, mvpmc dongle.bin and DNS setup, did not work. I also tried
using the Hauppauge software in combination with a Linux DHCP, DNS, and tftp
server, again no luck. Is there any way to tell or monitor if the
dongle.bin has been loaded (in each of the above situations I could not
telnet to the MVP box either)?

Anytime I select the Linux box from the MediaMVP Preferred Server screen or
bypass that step, I end up with "failed to locate GUI server"/"contacting
servers" endless cycle. I just do not understand it. The only
recommendation for that situation I was able to find is to insure that you
were not using links in the /tftpboot directory. All my files in that
location are full rwx and originals. I also double checked and tested my
tftp setup again, which seems to be working as expected.

If it is any help whatsoever, I can get the GB-PVR software to work
consistently with my MVP H3.

Frank
