I really hope Hauppauge don't try and keep their really poor server either. With the work I've done with emulation mode and GBPVR the more I realise how much they missed the boot since the rfb concept is really quite good. I'm not sure that another Syabase/Sigma/uclibc box is needed, I think people want a complete problem-free solution. Reading the current state-of-the art I think mvpmc is still a good choice.
