Are you using the same technique of transcoding the audio, but leaving 
the original SD video, or are you not using your MVP for playback of 
video acquired with your digital cards?

As expected. The the questions about number of tuners was regarding the 
HD5500. Some hybrid cards that support both analog NTSC and ATSC allow 
use of both tuners simultaneously.

Really? I just checked the manufacturer's page and a few retailers, and 
none mention QAM for the ATSC110. If it does support QAM, it would be 
the least expensive ($65) QAM solution I've seen.

The specs were also a little vague on the NTSC support. Does it have a 
cable-ready analog tuner? As above, is it capable of recording from the 
NTSC and the ATSC tuners simultaneously?

I presume you're using the ATSC110 with MythTV. I didn't search the 
wiki, but I didn't see a page dedicated to the ATSC110 in the MythTV wiki.
