David,

I understand the question. There is a dilemma though. In previous
versions people often asked me why the view is not updated immediately
after task properties are changed? Why tasks not disappeared from
outline once completed if "Hide Completed Tasks" options is set?

So in new version the views are updated immediately after task
property is changed to reflect the change. This might result that some
tasks disappeared from the view. If you do not like this you can set
Auto Update to FALSE and update the lists manually by clicking F5 each
time you need it.

There is an alternative that Task Properties Inspector should keep the
task(s) selected until user select other tasks manually. This way if
you select several tasks in To-Do and start change their properties
(changing properties of *several* selected tasks is in development)
some of these tasks might DISAPPEAR from the To-Do. But Inspector will
still keep initial tasks selected and you can keep editing their
properties.
The confusion in this situation might be that you see not all tasks
available and selected in the To-Do list after change of a task
property and you do not understand what tasks you editing now in
Properties Inspector.

Thoughts?

Andrey.
