I noticed the same behaviour. In my case I had the filter From: blank, the filter To: as Today, and the Hide Undated box checked.
First I unchecked the Hide Undated box. But this made all the undated items appear. Next I added an Advanced filter "DueDateTime exists" to show only items with a To: value. I would say this is an issue that has arisen with the new functionality for allowing a From: date or To: date without the other. The work around I described would be very difficult for a new user and would discourage them from using MLO. One solution would be for there to be 2 Hide Undated checkboxes -- one for the From: date and one for To: date. This would make it very clear exactly how the Hide Dated checkbox works. Until this discussion, I wasn't not even sure how Hide Undated works. Well, based on my testing, it actually applies to From only, and To: only. My first comment is that if it is only applying to one field, this is the wrong one. It should be based on the To: filed, the same field that causes the Due Date icons to appear. My second comment would be that if it only applying to the From: field, then it should be under that field, and not to To: box.
