Think you're missing a couple of points here. Firstly, just because
there are a number of parsing options doesn't mean you have to use them
all at the same time! Indeed, if that were the case it would probably
be easier to avoid using RTE entry for that task. Secondly, most notes
do go into more than one line but for quick capture via RTE then a
single line is probably enough as memory jogger for fleshing the notes
out more fully later. Even if more than one line were required building
a line break into the parsing should be quite easy via something like
`n.
