Andreas...
In retrospect, the example I gave *was* way too complicated, and not
really how I use Rapid Entry.
A much more realistic case would be something like this
1. {TYPE}
Set up meeting for redesign team
Invite everyone -n must include Bob W. 203-555-1212
Book conference room -n probably Thursday afternoon
2. {CLICK Add Task]
The notes I have in mind--when using rapid entry--are usually just
simple reminders, or facts I have at hand right and want to capture
right away.
Having the ability to do multi-line entry WITH notes (as above) would
be much simpler, faster, and more mindless than what I'd have to do
now:
1. Make sure multi-line is turned off (otherwise I can't add notes at
all.)
2. {TYPE}
Set up meeting for redesign team
3. {CLICK Add Task]
4. {TYPE}
Invite everyone
must include Bob W. 203-555-1212
5. {CLICK Add Task]
6. {TYPE}
Book conference room
probably Thursday afternoon
7. {CLICK Add Task]
Also, the way it is now, I can't use the excellent "indent to add
subtask" feature, so I'd have to assign those tasks manually, by
changing the <parent> setting, or dragging them once they're in my
outline.
Does that make more sense?
The reason why I'm obsessive about it is that I use Rapid task Entry
all day long.
And again, as Pottster said early in this thread, it would be great
even if we could just have an option not to have the task caption
duplicated in the notes.
Thanks
Steve
