Hello,

I have a problem with subtasks of a recurring task when I want to
track my completed tasks. My set-up is the following:

(1)
I have a recurring project with subtasks. The recurrence is set to the
standard advanced values "Reset all subtasks to uncomplete" and
"Automatically recur when all subtasks are complete".
In a view, which I use to actually check off my completed tasks, those
settings have the effect, that completed child tasks disappear until
the parent task is completed. I want to keep that feature.

(2)
Now I want to have a specific view, to see all completed tasks of the
current day.
The only advanced filtering rule used so far is: "CompletedDateTime is
today".
In this view I would like to see both, the completed child tasks and
the completed parent tasks at the same time. Unfortunately, the
completed child tasks disappear when I complete their parent task.
Then the parent is the only task visible.

As far as I can tell, the problem is somehow in the recurrence, since
the subtasks are not really completed anymore after their parent is
completed (the subtasks are reset to uncomplete).

So here is my question for you: Is there a way to let the child tasks
reappear as new tasks and not just reset the old ones while keeping
their other behavior stated in (1).

I really hope you understand the problem described above. If you need
more information, please let me know.

Thanks in advance for your help.
Jill.
