I agree it might be something with my settings, I have complex structure of contexts.
I will try it in new blank file. If the problem is still there then I will post the file. I don't think it's a bug as it's so basic I'm sure it would have come up before now. It's most likely something to do with your setup. The only other, slightly off the wall, suggestions I could make would be date/time related.
