I was not able to reproduce your issue. It maybe related to some
conflict with hotkeys.  I set Ctr+. hotkey to a flag and used it to
set this flag. However this hotkey did not work for me at all and flag
was not set. It probably occupied with other action in my system.

Could you please send me a demo mlo data file where I can reproduce
the problem.

This is other issue. It works as designed for now. I need to inform
user and get his confirmation to change current view. The current view
may contain a single task. The search shows tasks which are only
visible in other view. And yes it should be a check box to not ask
this question again - I agree and will consider adding it.
