I'm not sure that's the case. I mean, when I compare the functionality and usefulness of MLO vs everything else on iOS, Android, Windows, etc., I'm continually blown away by what Andrey's done. If anyone can do it, I suspect he can.
However, if it is turning out to be more than he'd anticipated, then I'll at least put in my hat and say I'd be happy with a few extra features tagged on to MLO 3.x. I'd always love more of course (those sample drawings a while back looked quite interesting), but what's there is already so fantastic that enhancing that would keep at least this customer quite happy.
