That screen with the 'browse" button in it that John found in File>Archive can also be found in Tools>Options>AutoArchive. I wonder if changes get saved more effectively from the Options menu than from File. Just a shot in the dark . . .

Upgraded this morning to V 4.0.0.2012 RC-3 which made no difference.
