Dwight, With the desktop I use that functionality a lot, I have certain Workspaces that are setup as default to a certain view, so I know I can just jump into them, and others I allow to be flexible.
So yes, really that's what I'd be after - although I suspect with the mobile version I am likely to use the fixed default workspaces more often..
