Hi Dwight, I did not know that the last stable release for iOS was so far behind from the Android version. It kind of makes sense to "make up" for lost times, and pack some exclusive features to make the iOS users feel a bit more special ;-)
I am by no means impatient or unhappy with release times, I was merely curious, since there were three feature updates for iOS (without the knowledge of iOS being so far behind), and I read panic posts about people thinking the Windows version got abandoned. So I simply wanted to know more about the release schedule. I did file some improvements and bug reports to the email provided in the app store, and was always notified politely that they would take it in consideration, so who knows... Coming from a developers background, I know how smaller teams operate. It is not an easy task to deploy and maintain apps for a lot of platforms, and knowing how easy it becomes an overwhelming task to deal with bugs on all of them, and a incompatible code base to boot, I would not be surprised they are truely understaffed and working their hardest to push out releases for whatever platform has focus. Kudos to them! And about the price, it is by far the most expensive app I ever bought. Normal apps range around 2 - 6 dollars, and MLO2 was 25, but what got to me was that to utilize it's full potential across multiple devices, you have to subscribe to cloud sync as well (I expected a Dropbox solution). So yes, in that respect it costed me an arm and a leg (figurably of course). But, no complaints about the existing functionality and if MLO is worth the price, I love the app. It does have some rough edges and I would have liked a better walk through and best practices manual for the android app (steep learning curve), and of course with a higher price somehow I did expect a bit more tight feature schedule, but it is simply the best task tracker there is, and what won me over was the ability to make tasks dependent on each other. Awesome feature. The projects view is awesome as well, there is a great satisfaction knowing how far along projects are, and see progress in work which otherwise would catch more dust than work :-) Thanks for taking the time to explain.
