Hello Luis,
It depends what "core feature" means, but I own MLO v2 and it does not have
anything like WiFi nor cloud sync. I owned it before 2.0 and the only sync
these versions had was to sync with a copy of .ml file in a different file
location. It worked for Windows PDA. Those versions had all the core
features, so you could argue that they not call it core.

I've read the website where it says if a Windows Firewall alert asks, you
should click allow. That is not at all saying that MLO has anything to do
with it, nor that you will be prompted if (1) your operating system doesn't
do that or (2) it's not even Windows Firewall on your own system that is
blocking it. There's no way MLO can be responsible for that, so it does say
refer to your other firewall software. So nobody said they are sure your
situation will work. I won't call it stupid and I've paid for things
without a trial first then found out it wasn't worth it. Just have to
decide is that what you want to risk before you pay.

Certainly I have never found any task manager that comes close to offering
what MLO does for me. Just that WiFi sync is not good enough for me either
because it does not automatically sync even when closing everything, the
only option I've heard would keep it in sync is cloud sync, which by name
means there is a third party serving the data. Then there is the question
of security because of claims of that data not being encrypted. I Just
really want a local sync that really does sync, and won't cost extra per
month.
