Hi If you don't want to use contexts for this purpose, you can use Goal setting. It's even simplier because you can change the folder name, move the folder to any place and you won't need to adjust the Todo view, it will always work.
Steps: Set the Goal=weekly to the folder. Settings for Todo view: Action filter = active Advanced filter: goal=weekly The workaround works well if you don't use the goal=weekly elsewhere.
