Follow-up Comment #4:
I have increased the number of iterations in the leak test (5 times), this is
the result:
* I can now confirm the leak in paint_and_clear; memory stays constant first,
then starts to increase rougly linear after iteration 50. (This leak should be
investigated, but it doesn't really worry me, it seems too small to cause any
real trouble.)
* Neither save_ora nor load_ora show any leak after 105 iterations. (I had to
comment out paint_and_clear, of course.)
I can also confirm that the cycle "Zoom out --> Paint --> File->New"
constantly increases memory usage. This part sure looks like a real problem.
