Follow-up Comment #5, bug #15974 (project mypaint):
No, it's the other way around.
In my other picture I tried to show that it opens a bit larger than the
screen area. This seems to be indeed a bug of the Windows7 window manager,
other apps do this too.
However the important thing for me is that if I maximize Mypaint and close
it, then I want it to be maximized automatically again next time I start it.
Anyway my workaround is to simply not maximize it at all, since other apps
misbehave too and it seems to be caused by a lack of standards. :)
