Follow-up Comment #2, bug #16741 (project mypaint):
Actually the same bug also happens with OpenRaster.
In contrast to PNG, you would usually not have re-activate the same
background, because it gets loaded properly as background pattern. But if you
do, it gets shifted with no way to recover.
