Details:
As stated in summary: the layer rename dialog frequently does not appear
when double clicking a layer in the layers window. Sometimes it works as
expected, but more often it requires three or even four clicks. Seems to
occur most frequently in large images or images with many layers.
This occurs with both left- and right-clicking to rename, and seems to be
related to how quickly mypaint switches the image to "layer solo" mode for the
layer preview. Larger files with more layers are more prone to trouble.
Easy way to reproduce:
New file, add thirty or more empty layers. Attempts to double click to
rename should frequently fail. Workaround is to click 3-5 times while the
temporary "Layer solo" view is active.
Faster machines may need to add more layers. There was no relevant console
output when testing.
